Hello, my name is Trivia Rose and I’m so excited to have you! I started streaming on Twitch back in September 2020 as a hobby after work and I haven’t turned back since! I’m a Senior User Experience Designer by day, working in the world of cybersecurity but at night, I’m an avid horror gamer with a passion for hunting down ghosts and spending time with my wonderful community.

A little about me…

I was adopted from Russia as a very young child, brought to the United States around the age of 2. I was lucky. My spine was being curved by nerve endings in my back and my new family was able to have me undergo spinal surgery when I was 4. When folks come in and ask about my service dog, he’s here to help me with so many things, from picking things up if I drop them, carrying heavier items to take the strain off my shoulders, and even acting as a brace when I fall and need something to help me get back up. Sure, I still horseback ride and ski, but he brings me a sense of peace and comfort that I’d never have without him. You might be asking yourself, why is this relevant? It’s super relevant!

Technology has always been a major part of my existence. It has made communicating with others easier, opened new avenues for work and play, and given me a place to make friends from all across the globe.

My community…

My community is the backbone of my Twitch channel. It may sound cliche but without them, there would be no TriviaRose. I push for an inclusive group where each person means something to me. If we aren’t doing community games during stream, we’re doing Discord Movie or Game nights to better forge bonds and friendships. They are the reason I started streaming.

A journey into horror gaming…

I originally started streaming games such as Red Dead Redemption and Star Wars the Old Republic. When Phasmophobia came out, one of my friends convinced me to pick up the game and try it out. I was always a fan of horror movies but never got into the gaming aspect, so I figured it’d be fun. Spoiler… it was!

I started streaming Phasmophobia in October of 2020 and was honored with the title of Official Content Creator for the game in January. It really opened the door for me, kicking off my first charity events, serious community games, and collaborations. Now I’m playing more horror games such as Ghost Exile, Ghost Hunters Corp, and Obsideo and I absolutely cannot wait for more to come out and to really fill out the genre!

Stream teams and initiatives…

Getting partnered on Twitch in April of 2021 really opened the doors for me to do more more good for the community as a whole. I first founded The Grave Keepers in June to create a family like group of like minded streamers with a passion for horror. It spans the globe, with members from the States all the way to Australia, and it’s given me new life and passion for streaming and for spooky games in general. This past month was absolutely insane, with almost 200 streamers applying to the team with applications being opened to kick off the year, and our Twitter account reached over 1,000 followers. I am personally terrible at social media but this group has been absolutely amazing and has so much more grand thing in store for them.

The Creators’ Corner was created for a slightly different purpose. I love streaming, and I love the connections that I’ve made, but there are so many times that it can feel lonely. It can be hard to find answers to even the easiest questions, and don’t even get me started on the more difficult, technical ones! TCC is a community for all streamers of all levels, built upon the foundation of mentoring and friendships. The Discord server is alive, every single day, with folks giving each other help, pushing each other, and creating an inclusive community hellbent on helping each other no matter the timezone, genre of game, or type of streamer.

To sum it up…

I’m so incredibly excited for the future and cannot wait to see you soon!
